The outbreak of the disease, which has been detected from Beijing's Xinfadi wholesale market, puts a city in a state of emergency on Saturday.
In Fengtai, Beijing, 45 out of 517 people tested positive for the disease. The new case requires authorities to shut down 11 regional economic activity around the market, Asia's largest agricultural wholesaler.
